It’s been unreal watching activist judges across the country put politics before country and go out of their way to stop Donald Trump’s agenda. Obama had no business issuing his DACA executive order. In fact, he is on the record saying that many times. However, he decided to go ahead and circumvent Congress anyway. That’s why we are currently stuck in this mess. Trump rescinded DACA (the right move) and told Congress to do their job. They started to do it this week and Trump even held a bipartisan meeting with members of Congress on Tuesday.

The meeting didn’t go well if you’re a Trump supporter. More on that later. However, things got even worse late Tuesday night. A federal judge in California tried to save DACA.

From The Daily Caller:

A federal judge in California ordered the Trump administration to maintain the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program late Tuesday, an Obama-era amnesty policy that extends legal status to 700,000 illegal aliens who arrived in the U.S. as children.

The ruling could ensures DACA’s security as President Donald Trump attempts to reach an immigration deal with Democratic lawmakers. The program was scheduled to phase out in March.

That’s not all. Guess what else we know about this judge.

Judge William Alsup, a Bill Clinton appointee, issued the ruling.

Well, that tells you pretty much all you need to do. Like it or not, the courts in this country have become hyper-political and the liberal left seems to totally fine with using the courts to score political points. Our court system is a mess, and Trump quickly pointed that out.

Here’s more.

From Fox News:

A federal judge in San Francisco on Tuesday barred the Trump administration from turning back the Obama-era DACA program, which shielded more than 700,000 people from deportation, Reuters reported, citing the judge’s ruling.

Trump last year ended the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program. He gave Congress until March to find a fix.

Starting in March, young people protected under DACA were to lose their protections under the program.

It’s hard to understand how anyone can make the argument that this decision should be made by anyone except Congress. This is basic stuff.

As I mentioned earlier, Trump supporters were not thrilled about how Trump’s DACA meeting went on Tuesday.

Tucker Carlson explained it better than I ever could. Check out the start of this clip.

The bottom line here is that hopefully Trump is playing some 4d chess here and is using a negotiating tactic with these Democrats and fake Republicans because if he thinks for one second that the people in that room with him on Tuesday care about protecting our border our enforcing our laws he’s got another thing coming.

Trump knows how important immigration is to his base. It is very possible that Trump is just testing out the water.  He knows a little more about negotiating than the average guy on the street. Might be a little early to panic but Tucker brought up some great points.

At the same time, it was pretty cool to see Trump’s leadership skills shine through here. Sitting at the table with your political enemies is something only a good leader could do and he handled it well.

As for the judge, it’s really just embarrassing that so many judges out there feel the need to get their moment in the sun and push this resistance nonsense.

Luckily, Trump has been doing a great job stocking the benches across the country with conservative judges.

From Washington Times:

Senators confirmed President Trump’s 20th federal judge Tuesday, approving William L. Campbell Jr. to a seat on a federal court in Tennessee by a 97-0 vote.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Kentucky Republican, said the Senate will have three more district court nominees on its agenda this week as well, but he complained it will consume the chamber’s entire floor time as they overcome Democrats’ procedural hurdles.

That’s great news.

Stay tuned on this DACA thing. It’s only going to get crazier.
