As the facts about this corrupt FBI investigation into Donald Trump continue to trickle out, we keep finding out more and more details that really do show how Obama and Clinton corrupted the process with their partisan politics. And today news has emerged that one of the sources for the fake “dossier” was a Clinton crony.

First, we need to set the table about what this “Trump dossier” is. This dossier is the report written by Trump’s opponents. It was the very fake info the FBI used as an excuse to spy on Trump by targeting Carter Page.

Former U.S. Attorney General Michael B. Mukasey laid out the facts showing just how corrupt the use of the Steele dossier was.

“The Steele dossier is 35 pages of opposition research on Donald Trump, described by former FBI Director James Comey as ‘salacious and unverified,'” Mukasey wrote on February 4. “It was paid for by Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee, and compiled by Christopher Steele, a former British intelligence agent who had a luminous dislike for Mr. Trump and was also an informant for the FBI.”

And yet, this fake, partisan document was used as “proof” that Trump was guilty of… something… or… or another.

But who were the sources for this “salacious and unverified” information? Rep. Trey Gowdy just let the cat out of the bag for at least one of those sources. Apparently it was no less than Clinton crony Sidney Blumenthal.

Gowdy appeared on Fox News and hinted to host Martha MacCallum that this old Clinton crony fed false info to the “British spy” who wrote the lie-filled report known as the Trump dossier.

“When you hear who the source, or one of the sources of that information is, you’re gonna think, ‘Oh my gosh, I’ve heard that name somewhere before, where could it possibly have been,'” Gowdy told MacCallum.

“The domestic source,” Gowdy continued. “And I’m trying to think how Secretary Clinton defined him. I think she said he was an old friend who emailed her from time to time.”

That’s when MacCallum jumped in with a name… “Sidney Blumenthal?” she said.

“That’d be really warm. You’re warm. Yeah,” Gowdy hinted.

Gowdy isn’t the only member of Congress to note that Clinton cronies are at the heart of this fake dossier.

Jim Jordan (R, OH) also said that Blumenthal’s name keeps coming up.

Jordan also appeared on Fox News this week:

The names we keep hearing are Sydney Blumenthal and Cody Shearer, people who have been around the Clintons forever as being a part of this.

But I also think it is kind of interesting, because what it looks like is they paid Steele to put together the dossier, then they told him what to put in it. Talk about rigging the game, and putting together a document that is going to serve your purposes as an opposition research document.

That’s what it looks like the Clinton team did. And then when you see names like Sydney Blumenthal coming up — we deposed this guy, during the Benghazi committee hearings, this guy has been around the Clintons forever, he was knee deep in the whole Libya/Begnhazi story, especially when they weren’t square with the American people about what really happened… I find that all interesting. Particularly that they hired Steele to produce the dossier, then they are actually telling him what to put in the dossier.

And then they are leaking that to the press, come on, that is not how it is supposed to work.

The corruption at the heart of this illicit FBI investigation looks worse every day.
