One has to hand it to former president Barack Obama. No one can make a claim to ‘decency’ and ‘civility’ while simultaneously lying about his opponents and bashing Americans at the same time.

During the speech, he painted Democrats as the party of civility while attacking millions of Republicans as divisive, resentful and paranoid.

And he painted President Donald Trump as “capitalizing” on “resentments.”

“But over the past few decades, the politics of division and resentment and paranoia has unfortunately found a home in the Republican party,” Obama declared.

This from the man who stoked division and played identity politics for the eight years of his presidency.

From Conservative Tribune:

Four times during the speech did a president who intentionally divided America for eight years in the White House talk about “divisions,” according to a transcript from Vox; and each of those “divisive” instances involved Republicans.

When Obama invoked “decent” or “decency,” however, he spoke exclusively of Democrats. That’s the party that, at the very moment the former president was making the speech, was using the Brett Kavanaugh Supreme Court hearings as an advertisement for the midterms and beyond.

And Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) wasn’t letting Obama get away with it.

And then there was this infamous remark, demonizing Americans who might differ from him on policy as “bitter clingers.” just as Hillary Clinton did when she called Americans “deplorable.”

Obama also called Republicans “enemies.”

And, of course, Hillary Clinton followed after Obama calling Americans “deplorable” and claiming that Republicans were the “enemies” she was proudest of having made.

Seems to be a Democratic tradition to attack broad segments of Americans.

Yet Obama has the nerve to talk in his speech about restoring “honesty and decency and lawfulness in our government” after eight years of divisiveness and lawlessness during his administration.

Americans have had seen in Obama’s speech and the Kavanaugh hearing perfect examples of how Democrats will demonize anyone and tell outright lies if they think it will help them win. Both Senators Kamala Harris and Cory Booker were exposed for lying during the hearing as they tried to smear Brett Kavanaugh.

The Democrats should be rejected, soundly, in November.
