Nike claims that they support the right to protest of Colin Kaepernick, despite his seeming hatred of police as a group including supporting radical groups like Black Lives Matter and donating $25,000 to a group that honors a cop-killer. But apparently, they had an issue with people who support the police protesting peacefully outside one of their stores in Arkansas.

People who showed up at the Nike store in west Little Rock were greeted outside by the sight of Jimmie Cavin in the parking lot in front of the store waving a thin blue line flag.

“What better place to wave the flag than right here in front of the Nike store,” Cavin observed. The thin blue line flag is a flag that honors police.

“My priority is supporting law enforcement, firefighters and paramedics,” Cavin explained.

Cavin said he sat in his truck, waving his flag and didn’t say anything to anyone. He didn’t cause any disturbance or problem of any kind.

But soon, about 15 minutes into his effort, the police rolled up to talk to him.

From Fox 16:

According to a police report Cavin showed us, officers showed up after a store manager reported a disturbance.

“Of course, we chatted,” Cavin says.

“He realized I wasn’t doing anything wrong.”

Cavin says, almost as quickly as they arrived, police left.

“So, Nike called the police on the guy supporting the police for supporting the police,” Cavin says.

Cavin said while he doesn’t agree with Kaepernick, he supports his right to express himself.

And Cavin isn’t going to let having the police called on him stop him from doing his thing. He plans to go on showing up with his flag to support law enforcement.
