While pro-life demonstrators were holding a peaceful ‘Life Chain’ protest in multiple cities in the U.S. and in Canada on Sept. 30, there was trouble at one event on the street in Toronto when a pro-abortion male ‘feminist’ began to harass the demonstrators and kicked one of the women in the shoulder on camera. That video went viral and the perpetrator, Jordan Hunt, has now been identified and is suffering some consequences for his actions.
According to Marie-Clare Bissonette, the woman who was kicked, Hunt had been defacing the signs and clothes of the pro-life demonstrators, including scribbling on the back of a 10-year-old girl.
She went to ask him about the harassment.
That’s when he brought up a “what would you do situation” if a 16-year-old girl was raped and became pregnant.
From Daily Wire:
“Hey, guess what,” he says in an irritated tone. “If somebody gets raped by somebody and they’re like, ‘I’m a 16-year-old and I can’t have this baby.’ Think they should keep it?”
The woman responds logically, “It’s a baby. If someone is raped and she gives birth and she decides to kill her three-year-old child —”
This when the feminist ally gets especially angry, pauses, and then kicks the young woman, knocking her phone out of her hand.
“Someone call the cops! Do not touch me!” you can hear the victim yell.
According to Bissonette, Hunt then ripped a ribbon she had been wearing off her chest and ran away.
From Daily Wire:
Though Hunt is apparently still on the run and yet to be apprehended by Toronto police, he has received a small taste of the justice coming his way: The hair studio he worked at up until Wednesday, Noble Studio 101 Hair Studio, swiftly cut ties with Hunt after seeing the disturbing video, Human Defense Initiative has confirmed:
In screenshots provided to the Human Defense Initiative, when questioned about the assault, the shop replied “Was a sub contracter. Until today when I found out what happened today!!!! Not cool. He will never step foot in my studio again.”
In an Instagram post, Noble Studio 101 Hair Studio confirmed the same, writing, “It has been brought to our attention that Jordan has been caught on camera assaulting an innocent bystander at a pro life rally. We don’t condone his actions and he has been let go. We believe that everyone has a right to an opinion and the right to voice their opinion without fear of physical violence.”
Bissonette said she was planning on pressing charges.
She also noted that this wasn’t the first time that she and other pro-life demonstrators have face violence.
From Free Beacon:
I’ve participated in many public pro-life activities throughout my life. This isn’t the first time I’ve been attacked. Rocks have been thrown at me. I’ve been spat upon multiple times and pushed. Men have aggressively asked how I would like it if they raped me and forced me to have an abortion. There is a media-driven narrative that pro-life activists are violent and a danger to women. This is a bald-faced lie. The only violence or aggression I’ve witnessed in my many years in the pro-life movement comes entirely from pro-abortion activists, and yet it’s rarely, if ever, reported.
Bissonnette concluded the article by expressing her sympathy for sexual assault victims and her desire to debate the abortion issue in good faith.
“It is the mark of a truly liberal society that two people with diametrically opposed views on the most important of issues concerning life, death and fundamental rights can peacefully stand beside one another expressing their respective opinions in public,” she wrote.
