If you missed the slate of UFC fights last night you missed some good ones. Conor McGregor, one of the most popular and entertaining figures in sports, was absolutely destroyed by Khabib Nurmagomedov. That was a result a lot of people never saw coming. The main event wasn’t the only interesting fight. The undercard was pretty stacked as well and the fight between Derrick Lewis and Alexander Volkov did not disappoint.
Derrick Lewis put on a show that ended up being one of the most impressive comebacks in UFC history.
Then, the post fight interview happened…
From The Daily Caller:
UFC Fighter Derrick Lewis reportedly told the crowd in Las Vegas that President Donald Trump called him prior to his bout to offer words of encouragement against a foreign adversary.
“I forgot, a few hours before the fight Donald Trump called me and told me I’ve got to knock this Russian [expletive] out, cause they making him look bad on the news,” Lewis told comedian and commentator Joe Rogan. “You know, him and Putin and [expletive]. [Expletive] what they talking bout. USA in this [expletive].”
Did Trump really call him or was this a joke? Hard to tell. However, it’s still a legendary post fight interview.
Another fighter mentioned his support for Kavanaugh in his post game fight earlier.
Conservatives are winning the culture war. No doubt about it.
