A few years ago when those horrifying undercover Planned Parenthood videos came out it was clear to reasonable people that America’s largest abortion factory was doing some truly evil things. There are plenty of decent Americans out there who support abortion but there’s no way any decent person can support the things in those videos.
There are several reasons why so many people aren’t aware of what actually goes on in these abortion clinics but the main reason is because Planned Parenthood and the mainstream media have spent a lot of time pushing lies and propaganda. For example, you always hear about how abortion is only 3% of what Planned Parenthood does and they primarily focus on “women’s health” needs like mammograms. Those are both lies. The 3% figure is a lie and the mammograms are a lie.
The liberal media also told us that the undercover videos were ‘edited’ and ‘doctored’ so they would be taken out of context. The full unedited videos were posted online and there’s no way to edit out that kind of evil.
When actually exposed to the truth, most reasonable people will at least take a step back and re-think the way they feel about abortion.
Apparently, that’s exactly what happened to the pro-choice producers of the new film ‘Gosnell’ which tells the story of one of the most despicable human beings to ever live.
From The Daily Caller:
Film producers of “Gosnell,” a movie detailing the crimes of abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell, never trusted pro-lifers until they put together “brutal” murder evidence for the movie that changed their perspectives on abortion.
“I never trusted or liked pro-life activists,” film producer Ann McElhinney told Lifesite. “I thought the shocking images they showed were manipulative. I was sure they had been photoshopped,” McElhinney said, recounting how she’d thought prior to producing, “Gosnell: The Trial of America’s Biggest Serial Killer.”
“In all my years of journalism, this was the most shocking evidence I’ve ever heard,” another film producer, Phelim McAleer, said after seeing photos of Gosnell’s victims and hearing evidence from witnesses. “People don’t want this story out – we need to get it out,” he said, explaining that production of the film had turned him from a pro-choice reporter to a pro-life one.
“He got really gross, asking me personal things about my female health,” McElhinney also said. She recounted later, crying at her computer over the “brutal” evidence and even praying, something she hadn’t done in years.
Sounds like these producers changed their tune a little bit, doesn’t it?
Now, we need to make sure as many Americans as possible see this new movie that comes out on Friday.
