It is clear to most reasonable people that the FBI and other parts of the Obama Administration were actively working to make sure Hillary was let off the hook on the email scandal and to make sure that Trump wouldn’t be president. The text messages between Peter Strzok and his lover laid out that case pretty convincingly.

After we learned about that, the FBI threw us a curveball.

They claimed they mysteriously “lost” the text messages from the phone of the rogue FBI agent.

From Reuters:

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has lost about five months worth of text messages between two staffers who worked on probes into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s emails and possible collusion between Russia and President Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign, according to a Republican lawmaker.

Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson, who chairs the Senate Homeland Security Committee, revealed in a Jan. 20 letter that the FBI’s technical system failed to preserve texts that were exchanged between Lisa Page, a lawyer, and Peter Strzok, an agent, between mid-December 2016 through mid-May of 2017.

Jeff Sessions made it clear that he wasn’t buying it.

From The Hill:

Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Monday announced the Justice Department will investigate missing text messages sent between two FBI agents critical of President Trump, joining the chorus of Republican lawmakers who are eager to recover the exchange.

GOP officials have seized on the messages as evidence of FBI bias against Trump in the probes into Russian election meddling and Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server while secretary of State.

“We will leave no stone unturned to confirm with certainty why these text messages are not now available to be produced and will use every technology available to determine whether the missing messages are recoverable from another source,” Sessions said in a statement.

On Wednesday, things got even crazier.

Check out the bombshell Hannity dropped.

From Gateway Pundit:

FOX News is now reporting the recovery of the missing FBI text is underway.

Tonight Sean Hannity told his audience he has MULTIPLE SOURCES who confirm the DOJ is retrieving the missing messages between lovebirds Strzok and Page.

The FBI thought it could pull that one over on the American people?

No way.

No serious person believes it’s possible that these texts couldn’t be found by someone. The phone company. The NSA. Those texts are out there. The founder of Bleachbit agrees that they can be found.

From Washington Examiner:

“The loss of these text messages is an unbelievable coincidence – literally,” a House Intelligence Committee source told the Washington Examiner.

A one-paragraph official explanation offers little clarity on what happened, and the FBI declined to comment on the physical whereabouts of the couple’s government-issued Samsung Galaxy S5 devices or whether additional forensic recovery steps are being taken.

Some experts say, however, that it may be possible to recover the missing communications.

“A sharp digital forensic expert may still be able to recover them,” said Andrew Ziem, creator of BleachBit, the software that Hillary Clinton subordinates used to clear information from her private server. “In general whenever any software deletes any information, traces are left on the storage device, though they become disorganized like the proverbial needle in the haystack.”

Stay tuned.

This story is only getting started.
